Bridging Urban Aspirations in Jalpaiguri’s Digital Hub
In the serene town of Abasar, Jalpaiguri, near the lush Gorumara Jungle, AIM Foundation’s Dhriti initiative is helping youth rise through tech-enabled education.
This center is more than a classroom—it’s a gateway to opportunity. Students here are trained in MS Office tools, AutoCAD, and Remote Sensing technologies like ArcGIS and Erdas Imagine. These skills are no longer limited to metro cities. Now, even rural youth are mastering advanced digital tools to enter high-impact sectors like climate science, agriculture technology, and urban development.
What’s unique about this initiative is its practical focus—students are encouraged to build and present projects, apply real data, and prepare for both higher education and job markets. The program fosters self-esteem and sparks ambition.
With rising enrollment and local appreciation, our Jalpaiguri center stands as a model of transformation—proving that tech-led learning can bloom anywhere if given the chance.
