Celebrating Strength: International Women’s Day with AIM Foundation

At AIM Foundation, we believe that empowering women is key to building a stronger, more compassionate society. On International Women’s Day, we took a moment to celebrate this belief through a powerful event dedicated to recognizing and uplifting the voices of women from all walks of life.

The event brought together women from our local communities, volunteers, educators, and young girls—all united in a spirit of solidarity and celebration. Through a vibrant mix of cultural performances, motivational talks, and interactive sessions, the day was a true reflection of the strength, resilience, and grace that women bring to the world.

Highlights included storytelling circles where women shared their personal journeys of overcoming hardship, breaking barriers, and chasing dreams. These stories sparked hope and encouraged the younger audience to believe in their potential, no matter their background.

Workshops on financial literacy, health awareness, and self-confidence were also held, providing practical tools to help women take charge of their futures. For many participants, this was their first exposure to such targeted and empowering information.

Empowering Girls with Confidence: A Workshop on Menstrual Hygiene Awareness

 AIM Foundation recently conducted a transformative workshop focused on menstrual hygiene awareness—a subject still considered taboo in many parts of India. With the vision of breaking silence and empowering adolescent girls, the workshop was led by a dedicated team including Dr. Ghosh, Ms. Nibedita Basu, and Dr. Banani Dutta. The session aimed to educate young girls about the biological aspects of menstruation, the importance of hygiene practices, and how to manage periods safely and confidently.
